Certain mechanical requirements shall be followed for central air conditioning as provided for in the National Electrical Code. Provide disconnect at outside unit, low voltage conductors in the same raceway or enclosure with line voltage conductors shall have six hundred (600) V insulation. Liquid tight conduit shall be used only for flexibility. All electrical equipment shall be grounded. Provide a trap in condensate drain.
