The Building Commissioner shall procure from the applicant, in addition to the requuirements of Section 1351.06(a)(2), a letter setting forth the manner in which the building or structure is to be razed, step by step, and the proposed safeguards to be taken for each step. The Commissioner shall have the letter approved by the City Engineer and the Fire Chief, and shall reproduce the steps upon the permit in writing. In making their determination, the Departments and the Fire Division shall act to assure maximum safety to persons and property in the City. In no event shall razing be done by setting fire to the building or structure or burning any part thereof. (Ord. 42-1970. Passed 5-11-70.)
