1311.10 PERMITS LIMITED.
   If, after a permit has been issued, the structure is not completed up to the top of the first floor joists within six months of the date of issue of the permit, or if the construction work shall be discontinued for any reason for a period of six months, the permit shall become void. Before such operation shall be begun or work resumed, a new permit shall be taken out by the owner, his agent or architect, and additional fees, as provided in this chapter for the original permit, shall be paid therefor.
