The location and widths of proposed streets shall be such as to fit in with any plan of street development adopted by the Planning Commission or other public authority. Due regard shall be given to existing streets capable of being established in surrounding property, so that streets may be laid out through adjacent or neighboring allotments with reasonable continuity of location and width.
