The purpose of this Chapter 767 is to provide for the licensing through permit of child day-care homes and establish minimum fire safety and health standards for child day-care homes. It is anticipated that the inspection for compliance with the standards set forth herein will be made by the Fire Chief, the Chief of Police, and/or any other person or department that the Mayor may designate.
