It shall be the duty of the Building Commissioner and the Fire Chief to have such inspections of all hotels, motels and apartment houses as they may deem necessary, and in any event, at least once in each year.
Should any inspection reveal conditions which are in violation of this chapter or of any laws or ordinances of the City, it shall be the duty of the division making such inspection to report such violation to the owner or agent, together with an order to eliminate such violation within a reasonable time.
Any failure of such agent or owner to comply with an order of the Building Commissioner or the Fire Chief shall subject such agent or owner to the penalties provided in this chapter. (Ord. 9-1964. Passed 3-23-64.)
