Unless otherwise provided for by ordinance, all licenses shall be issued on an annual basis and shall expire on June 30 of each year. All licenses provided for in Section 701.07 which have been issued prior to the effective date of this section and which expire on December 31, 1980, shall be effective until December 31, 1980. On that date, new licenses shall be issued from December 31, 1980, until June 30, 1981 upon payment of a prorated fee. Thereafter such licenses shall also be issued on an annual basis and shall expire on June 30 of each year. No licenses or permits shall be transferable unless authorized by ordinance. (Ord. 36-1980.
