An adequately sized and separate recovery room or rooms, as defined by the Board, in proximity to the operating facilities shall be provided. The recovery room shall contain adequate monitoring equipment, suction, oxygen and other related equipment. Such room shall be staffed by qualified nursing personnel. An adequate number of recovery beds and/or rooms, as defined by the Board, shall be provided to insure a minimum of three hours for the recovery of each patient. (Ord. 51-1974. Passed 6-24-74.)
