The Safety Director is directed to review parking lots providing off-street parking in the retail and commercial use districts of the City. The Safety Director shall require that such lots have minimum egress and ingress driveways to City streets in order to minimize interference with pedestrian and vehicular traffic. In the case of parking areas which are too narrow to permit automobiles turning within confines of such lots, the Safety Director may waive the requirements provided herein for minimum driveways and shall make such adjustments which will permit off-street parking and minimize dangers to pedestrians or vehicular traffic on the City streets.
