1317.04 RAISING WIRES OR CABLES.
   If the moving of the building or structure shall make it necessary to raise the wires or cables or similar property belonging either to the City or to any person rightfully having the wires or cables in or along any street or public ground, the Director of Public Service and Safety shall not issue any permit until the person making application for the same has paid, or given security to pay, the actual expense incurred in raising the wires and cables.

1317.05 PROMPT AND WORKMANLIKE PROCEDURE.
   Any person moving the building or structure upon or across any street, or public ground in the City, shall conduct the work promptly and without any unreasonable delay, and shall not allow the building or structure to stand upon or across any street or public ground longer than is strictly necessary, and shall conduct the work in a good and workmanlike manner with due regard to the rights of others. In the event of failure to observe these requirements, the Director of Public Service and Safety shall revoke the permit, and cause the building or structure to be removed at the expense of the person having the permit. The bond given shall be charged with the payment of any and all expense. (Ord. 2010-24. Passed 4-20-10.)
1317.06 PROTECTION OF PAVEMENT; RED LANTERNS.
   No person shall move or cause to be moved any building or structure without the exercise of due care and diligence for the protection of the pavement and other portions of the street and property of any and all persons in and about the street. From sunset of one day until sunrise of the following day while the building or structure is being moved, the person shall cause to be displayed at conspicuous places on the building or structure and at opposite ends thereof, not less than two red lights or lanterns, and as many more as may be ordered by the Director of Public Service and Safety. 1317.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
