§ 121.06 INFORMATION BROCHURE.
   Each owner operating a short-term rental shall provide to guests information that includes:
   (A)   The registrant's 24- hour contact information;
   (B)   A local responsible party's 24-hour contact information, if the property owner is not within the city limits when guests are renting the premises;
   (C)   Pertinent neighborhood information including, but not limited to, parking restrictions, restrictions on noise and amplified sound, and trash collection schedules;
   (D)   Information to assist guests in the case of emergencies posing threats to personal safety or damage to property, including emergency and non-emergency telephone numbers for police, fire, and emergency medical services providers and instructions for obtaining severe weather, natural, or manmade disaster alerts and updates;
   (E)   Policy regarding pets.

§ 121.07 SAFETY FEATURES.
   Each short-term rental property shall have working smoke detectors in accordance with adopted codes, at least one working carbon monoxide detector and alarm, and one working fire extinguisher. The premises shall otherwise comply with applicable codes and ordinances including but not limited to building and fire codes.

§ 121.99 PENALTY.
   The provisions of this chapter may be enforced by the Code Enforcement Board following the procedures set forth in §§ 33.70 et seq. All violations of such provisions are specifically assigned to the Code Enforcement Board. Proceedings against any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter may be initiated by the issuance of a citation to the Code Enforcement Board, and the Board may issue remedial orders, impose civil fines, order the filing of liens, and exercise authority with respect to such violations as set out in §§ 33.70 et seq., pursuant to the Local Government Code Enforcement Board Act (KRS 65.8801 through 65.8839).
