1757.03 OTHER USES IN DWELLING STRUCTURES.
   No other use shall be maintained in any dwelling structure unless such use is so located and arranged that it does not constitute a hazard to the residential occupants of the building and is provided with approved means of egress and ingress, and unless there exist or are provided approved toilet accommodations separate from those provided for the occupants residing in the building, and no such use shall be maintained unless a Certificate of Occupancy permitting such use has been issued by the Code Official.

1757.04 LIGHTING OF PUBLIC OR COMMON AREAS.
   Exterior walkways, parking lots and garage areas shall be provided artificial illumination from dusk until dawn. Lighting shall be provided in such a manner that it:
   (a)   Illuminates the walking surfaces to reduce trip hazards;
   (b)   Illuminates the interior and exterior of the garages to limit theft and criminal activity;
   (c)   Illuminates surrounding ground areas of walkways, entrances, exits, playgrounds and garages that could provide cover for criminals and their activities.

1757.05 RESIDENT AGENT.
   In any multiple dwelling or residential rental property in which the owner thereof does not reside, the owner shall designate a janitor, custodian, agent, operator or other responsible person, who shall be considered the resident agent, reside in such multiple dwelling or residential rental property and have charge of the same. Where there are two or more such multiple dwellings or residential rental properties on one parcel of land or upon two or more contiguous parcels of land, one janitor, custodian, agent or operator residing in anyone of such multiple dwellings or residential rental properties may serve as janitor, custodian, agent or operator for all of such multiple dwellings or residential rental properties.
   Any time that information that was submitted on the registration form required by Section 1761.02 changes, the Department of Housing must be notified in writing of the change within seventy-two hours.

1757.06 IDENTIFICATION OF DWELLING UNITS.
   (a)   Each dwelling unit must be identified with permanent numerals or letters placed on the front entrance to such dwelling unit and clearly visible from the street.
   (b)   Each multiple dwelling having more than one garage unit shall have such garage units marked with permanent numerals or letters clearly visible from the street.
