The Service Director shall have charge and the entire management, control and regulation of Euclid Cemetery, subject to the ordinances of the City and other laws pertaining thereto. When he or she deems it necessary, he or she shall direct the laying out of lots, streets, walks and paths, provided that a plat thereof shall be made and kept in the office of the Finance Director for the use of the public. The Service Director shall direct all improvements and embellishments of the grounds and shall protect and preserve them. He or she shall appoint necessary employees and agents and shall determine their term of office and the amount of their compensation, within the appropriations of Council.
