3-2-1: LICENSE REQUIRED:
No person shall operate, maintain or conduct a billiard, pool, bagatelle or pigeonhole table open to the public without first having obtained a license therefor as herein required. All applications for such license shall state thereon the intended location of the place of business, the number of tables to be used therein and set forth facts establishing the right of the applicant to have a license issued to him. Provided, however, that a "class A" tavern license issued pursuant to the provisions of this code shall entitle the licensee to maintain and operate in connection with and as a part of the licensed premises one only, three-fourths (3/4) size, coin operated pool table without obtaining a license as provided in this chapter, and the conditions and restrictions set forth in this chapter shall have no application to any such table so authorized to be maintained and operated in connection with and as a part of a licensed tavern. 3-2-2: LICENSE RESTRICTIONS:
No license shall be issued to a person who is under the age of eighteen (18) years or who has been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. (Ord. 234, 4-27-1965)
3-2-3: LICENSE FEE, TERM:
The annual fee for such license shall be the sum of one dollar ($1.00). The license shall be issued by the clerk on application showing the applicant to have the required qualifications and upon payment of the license fee. The first license issued to any person terminates at the end of the then current fiscal year of the village and licenses thereafter shall be for the fiscal year beginning on May 1 and ending on April 30 next thereafter.
