553.12 PERMITTED TREES FOR LARGER SIZE AREAS.
   No person shall plant or cause to be planted a tree in a tree lawn less than ten feet in width and 20 feet in length, nor closer than 50 feet between trees, nor closer than 40 feet to an existing or anticipated structure, other than one of the following:
   (a)   River Birch (Betula Nigra)
   (b)   Ginkgo (Ginkgo Biloba Maidenhair)
   (c)   Silver Linden (Tilia Tomentosa)
   (d)   Thornless Honeylocust (Gleditsia Triacanthos Inermise)
   (e)   Emerald Queen Norway Maple (Acer Platanoides Emerald Queen)
   (f)   Cimmaron Ash (Fraxinus Pennsylvanica Cimmzam)
   (g)   Tulip Tree (Liriodendron Tulipifera)
   (h)   Red Oak (Quercus Rubra)
   (i)   Pin Oak (Quercus Palustris)
   (j)   Elm (Ulmus Valley Forge or Triumph)

553.13 TREE LAWN DEFINED.
   "Tree lawn," as used in this chapter, means that portion of the public right-of-way for road purposes which exists between the paved roadway surface and the sidewalk, or otherwise exists as the unpaved portion of the public right-of-way.

553.99 PENALTY.
   Any violation of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor of the third degree.
