City Law Director

125.01 COMPOSITION OF OFFICE.
   The City Law Director's office shall be composed of the Law Director and such other employees as Council may designate or authorize from time to time and as are set forth in the current compensation ordinances.

125.02 SETTLING AND COMPROMISING CLAIMS.
   The City Law Director is authorized, upon the approval of the Finance Committee of Council, to settle and compromise any and all claims against the City when the amount of such settlement or compromise does not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), provided, however, that no settlements or compromises shall be made or paid unless the funds therefor have been appropriated by Council for such purpose.
