A. Determination: The number of ERUs assigned to a water meter is determined using the meter size and type factor (MSTF) which represents the maximum capacity of a water meter as established by AWWA. (Ord. 131, 6-4-2014)
B. Established By Resolution: The meter size and type factor shall be as established by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 141, 8-27-2015; amd. 2017 Code)
C. Use Of MSTF: The MSTF is used to calculate:
1. New user facility fee (section 8-1-8 of this chapter);
2. Monthly water rate (section 8-1-10 of this chapter);
3. Monthly standby fire protection rate (section 8-1-11 of this chapter). (Ord. 131, 6-4-2014)
