An employee who fails to comply with this chapter, or who violates one or more of the rules of conduct set forth in this chapter, is subject to appropriate disciplinary action, including reprimand, suspension, demotion, or discharge, whichever is applicable. All disciplinary action taken and any appeal from the disciplinary action must be in conformance with the procedures established by the city charter, this chapter, departmental rules and regulations, and other applicable law.
