(a) From and after the effective date of this section, the following rates and charges shall be effective for each run of both rescue and emergency ambulance service and non-emergency ambulance transportation service which originates within this Village and also within Sandusky Township of Richland County, Ohio, for so long as a contract for rescue and emergency ambulance service and non-emergency ambulance transportation service shall be in effect between this Village and Sandusky Township:
Base Rate - Basic Life Support (BLS) | $335.39 |
Plus mileage at | $10.65/mile |
Plus additional charges: | |
Advanced Life Support 1 | $150.00 |
Advanced Life Support 2 | $240.00 |
Waiting time after first 1/4 hour (per hour or portion thereof) | $125.00 |
Disposable supplies | Cost plus 15% |
(b) Service provided which originates outside of the Village or Sandusky Township shall be subject to the above charges plus an additional charge of five hundred dollars ($500.00).
(c) The Village Administrator is hereby authorized to adjust the charges set forth above as may be just and equitable in any particular case.
