§ 51.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person who shall violate any provision of §§ 51.001, 51.015 through 51.020, 51.035 through 51.041, 51.055 through 51.060, 51.075 and 51.076 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $15 and not exceeding $1,000 and costs, and in default of payment thereof, shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of §§ 51.001, 51.015 through 51.020, 51.035 through 51.041, 51.055 through 51.060, 51.075 and 51.076 continues shall constitute a separate offense.

   (C)   Any person who shall violate any provision of §§ 51.090 through 51.095 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not less than $25 and not exceeding $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of §§ 51.090 through 51.095 continues shall constitute a separate offense.

   (D)   Any person who shall install an individual or a community sewage disposal system or construct any building in which an individual or community sewage disposal system is to be installed, without first obtaining a permit in accordance with §§ 51.135 through 51.141, and the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act, or any person who installs such disposal system not in accordance with the standards prescribed under the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act, being 35 P.S. §§ 750.1 et seq., and the rules and regulations of the state’s Department of Environmental Protection, or any person who resists or interferes with any officer, agent or employee of the borough, acting in accordance with the provisions of §§ 51.135 through 51.141, the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act or the rules and regulations of the Department of Environmental Protection in the performance of his or her duties shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days.
