(A) No person shall engage in or in any way follow the business, occupation or calling of guiding, directing, aiding or in any manner assisting for compensation or reward, either directly or indirectly, any person in the procuring of a marriage license.
(B) No person shall guide, direct or aid in any manner, for compensation or reward, either directly or indirectly, such persons as may have obtained a marriage license in having the marriage ceremony performed.

Any person convicted of violating the provisions of § 118.01 of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days, or both, for the first day’s violation. Each day’s continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
