Within a C-5 District, no building, structure or premises shall be used, arranged to be used or designed to be used, except for one or more of the following uses.
(a) Permitted uses.
(1) Refreshment stands;
(2) Restaurants and eating places;
(3) Hotels, motels and tourist homes;
(4) Accessory uses clearly incidental to the principal uses permitted on the same premises;
(5) Signs, as regulated by Chapter 1294; and
(6) Bed and breakfast.
(b) Conditionally permitted uses. The Planning Commission may issue conditional zoning certificates for uses listed in this division, subject to the general requirements of Chapter 1266 and the following specific requirements.
(1) Truck servicing, including the provision of fuel, food and sleeping rooms, is subject to §§ 1266.10(a)(2), (a)(7), (a)(8), (a)(10) and (a)(11).
(2) Truck or transfer terminals and motor freight garages, excluding warehousing, are subject to §§ 1266.10(a)(2), (a)(7), (a)(8), (a)(10), (a)(11) and (p).
(3) Public utility structures and rights-of-way are subject to § 1266.10(b)(6).
(4) Gasoline service stations are subject to § 1266.10(b)(3) and (j).
(5) Outdoor displays are subject to § 1266.10(k).

(a) The minimum front yard depth is 50 feet.
(b) The minimum rear yard depth is 25 feet.
(c) There is no minimum side yard width, except 50 feet when such side yard is adjacent to a Residential District and on the side adjacent to the Residential District only.

Off-street parking and loading shall be as regulated by Chapter 1292.

Merchandise to be sold at retail on the premises may be displayed out of doors, except that no such display shall be within 50 feet of any R-District. Display areas shall be screened from abutting residential users by landscaping sufficient to limit to a minimum all visual effects of such display areas. Such landscape buffer shall be maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. Such area shall also meet the requirements of Zoning Code § 1266.10(k).
