A. Preparation: The village clerk/treasurer shall prepare all licenses authorized by this code and countersign the same under seal of the village.
B. Records Maintained: The village clerk/treasurer shall keep a full and complete record of all licenses issued with the names of the parties in whose favor they are drawn, including dates, amounts, numbers and purposes for which given. (1976 Code § 9-3-4)
C. Information Contained On License: Licenses shall contain the signature and seal of the issuing officer and shall show the name and address of the licensee, the class of license issued and the kind of goods to be sold thereunder, the amount of fee paid, if any, the date of issuance, the length of time the same shall be operative, as well as the license number and other identifying description of any vehicle used in such peddling.
