Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code and each day that any building is in process of erection or is allowed to stand after completion, shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
