5-2-30: INTERFERENCE AT FIRES:
Any person who shall at any fire wilfully resist, hinder or obstruct any officer or any person in the discharge of his duties at a fire or who shall wilfully injure any hose or apparatus belonging to the Fire Department shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code, and shall be arrested and detained in the custody of the Sheriff or any of his deputies, or the Village peace officers, until such fire is extinguished; and any such person shall for such offense, upon affidavit signed by any member of the Fire Department or other person in the manner provided for by law, be brought up to trial before the Municipal Judge of the Village.
