5-2-26: OBSCENE CONDUCT:
   A.   Defined: "Obscene", as used in this section, shall mean:
      1.   The average person, applying contemporary community standards would find that the act or matter involved, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest;
      2.   The work or act depicts or describes actual or simulated acts of human sexual intercourse, sodomy, bestiality, oral copulation, masturbation, excretory functions or lewd exhibition of the genitals; and
      3.   The work or act, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value.
   B.   Unlawful Acts: It shall be unlawful for a person to:
      1.   Appear in a public place naked or in an indecent or lewd form of dress;
      2.   Make any indecent exposure of his or her person, or urinate or stool in any place open to public view;
      3.   Be guilty of prostitution or any lewd conduct;
      4.   Utter or speak any obscene language;
      5.   Exhibit or perform any obscene play or other representation. (1976 Code § 5-1-32)
