4-2A-4: NOTICE OF NUISANCE:
Any village police officer, firefighter, mayor or trustee upon observing any violation of this article shall issue a notice directed to the owner of record of the property on which a nuisance occurs, or to the occupant or tenant of said property, or both, which said notice shall describe the violation and shall establish a reasonable time limit for abatement thereof by such owner or occupant or tenant, which limit shall be not less than two (2) days, nor more than thirty (30) days after service of such notice. Such notice may be served either personally or by first-class registered mail at the owner's or occupant's last known address upon deposit in the postal registry. (Ord. 68, 11-2-1974)
