1-9A-1 APPOINTMENT AND COMPENSATION.
   The Council shall appoint by majority vote a City Clerk to serve at the discretion of the City Manager. The Clerk shall receive such compensation as established by resolution of the Council.

1-9A-2 POWERS AND DUTIES, GENERAL.
   The Clerk, or, in the Clerk’s absence or inability to act, the Director of Administrative Services, has the powers and duties as provided in this chapter, this Code, and the law.
