(a) Any person that is organized and operated exclusively for religious, educational, philanthropic, benevolent, fraternal or charitable purposes not operated for pecuniary profit, where no part of the net earning enures to the benefit of any person, shareholder or individual, or where the solicitations, sale or delivery shall be conducted within an organization and only among the members thereof.
(b) Any person defined in this article who is employed by or represents a business, firm or corporation which is located within the City limits, who is otherwise licensed under the general store licensing provisions of the City.

(c) The Director of Finance is empowered to request or demand written proof to verify the exemption of any person or organization exempted from licensing under subsection (a) hereof. Such written proof shall be in the form of documentation stating the person or organization’s federal tax exempt identification number. (Ord. 02-7. Passed 4-4-02.)
