Each facility required to comply with the Illinois Abandoned Newborn Protection Act, including hospitals, fire stations, emergency medical facilities and police stations, shall post a sign, issued by the department of public health and uniform in size and appearance, informing persons that a newborn infant may be relinquished at that facility in accordance with the Act. Such signs shall be located in a conspicuous place on the outside of such establishment.
