4-360-010 Definitions.
   Whenever used in this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
   (a)   "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection of the City of Chicago.
   (b)   "Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection" means the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection of the City of Chicago.
   (c)   "Board of Health" means the Board of Health of the City of Chicago.
   (d)   "Department of Public Health" means the Department of Public Health of the City of Chicago.
   (e)   "Commissioner of Public Health" means the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health of the City of Chicago.
   (f)   "Navy Pier" means the municipal pier extending into Lake Michigan from the foot of East Grand Avenue.
   (g)   "License" means a license issued pursuant to this chapter.
   (h)   "Pushcart" means a wheeled vehicle propelled solely by human power.
   (i)   "Food" means food and beverages allowed to be sold in accordance with this chapter.
   (j)   "Licensee" means a person to whom a license has been issued pursuant to this chapter.
   (k)   "Person" means any natural individual, firm, trust, partnership, joint venture, association, corporation or other legal entity, whether acting in his or its own capacity or as administrator, executor, trustee, receiver or other representative appointed by a court. Whenever the word "person" is used in any section of this chapter prescribing a penalty or fine as applied to partnerships or associations, the word shall include the partners or members thereof, and such word as applied to corporations shall include the officers, agents or employees thereof who are responsible for any violation of said section.
   (l)   "The authority" means the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority created by the Illinois Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority Act, as amended
