2-74-130 Exemptions to chapter applicability.
   This ordinance shall not apply nor have any effect upon the police board, its manner of selection, composition, or its powers and duties as set forth in Sections 2-84-020 and 2-84-030 of this Code and Section 3-7-3.1, Section 10-1-18.1 and Section 10-1-45 of the Illinois Municipal Code. Nor shall this ordinance have any effect upon the selection, powers or duties of the superintendent of police as set forth in the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago and Section 3-7-3.2 of the Illinois Municipal Code.
