2-8-020 Payment of claims for damages.
   Claims for damages shall be paid according to the provisions of the annual appropriations ordinance, except that during the annual vacation period or periods of the city council, the chairman of the committee on finance may order the payment of compensation in full settlement of claims for damages against the City of Chicago.
