927.39 SECONDARY WATER LINE FOR OUTSIDE USE.
   (a)   One secondary water line for outside water usage is permitted for each building, dwelling or structure connected by a service lateral to a water main. The secondary water line shall be connected to the primary water line within the dwelling, building or structure at a location between the point of entry to the structure and the primary water line water meter. A secondary water line water meter shall be attached to the secondary water line. The secondary water line shall only be used to provide water outside of the dwelling, building or structure and shall not be discharged into the sanitary sewer system. The secondary water line shall be attached to an outside faucet or faucets or other outside water distribution system, such as a lawn or landscape sprinkling system, intended solely for outside use.
 
   (b)   The owner or user of the dwelling, building or structure, shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, if any, required by § 920.12 ; payment of all permit fees required by § 920.18 ; the cost of construction, inspection and testing required by § 920.93 ; application deposit required by § 921.161 ; cost for municipal construction, inspection and testing as set forth in § 921.165 ; the cost for the secondary water line water meter and remote reading device required therefore by § 921.166 ; and such other requirements, costs, fees and expenses imposed by Chapters 920 , 921 and 927 of the Codified Ordinances.
