The first step in the subdivision process is the filing of a tentative plat. It is suggested, however, that even prior to this, the subdivider should make contact with the planning commission, as to the elements and features of the master plan proposals for the area, specific engineering requirements and other factors, which may influence the design and development of the area in question.
