(a) No owner, operator or any other person shall deposit or cause to be deposited in a parking meter, a coin or coins for the purpose of increasing the time of any vehicle beyond fifteen minutes in a fifteen-minute parking zone; thirty minutes in a thirty-minute parking zone; sixty minutes in a one-hour parking zone; or 120 minutes in a two-hour parking zone, which has been established for the parking meter zone adjacent to which such parking meter is located.

(b) Any owner or operator of a motor vehicle violating any provision of this section shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Payment of the fine shall be subject to the waiver provisions of Section 361.01.
