353.07 OVERTIME PARKING.
   (a)   In no event may a parking zone be occupied continuously by any one person or vehicle for more than fifteen minutes in a fifteen minute parking zone; thirty minutes in a thirty minute parking zone; sixty minutes in a one hour parking zone, 120 minutes in a two-hour parking zone, irrespective of the number or denomination of coins inserted in the parking meter device.
   (b)   If any vehicle remains in any such metered parking zone beyond the parking time limits fixed by this chapter, the parking meter shall display a sign or signal showing illegal parking and in that event such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime and beyond the period of legal parking time, and the parking of a vehicle overtime or beyond the period of legal time in any part of the street where any such meter is located shall be a violation of this chapter.

   (c)   Any owner or operator of a motor vehicle violating any provision of this section shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Payment of the fine shall be subject to the waiver provisions of Section 361.01.
