(a) An administrative processing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be charged for each vehicle impounded by the City. Said fee shall also be assessed and included in the purchase price of any motor vehicles that remain unclaimed and sold at auction.
(b) A gate fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be charged per visit for any authorized person wishing to remove personal items from a vehicle. This fee shall be waived only for the removal of personal medications, car seats, or any medical device as determined by the impound attendant.

(c) Charges for the storage of impounded motor vehicles at the City’s impound lot shall be as follows:
(1) $15.00 per day for the storage of passenger cars, vans and pick-up trucks;

(2) $20.00 per day for the storage of a commercial tractor and trailer or semi- trailer;
(3) $5.00 per day for the storage of motorcycles, mini-bikes, mopeds and snowmobiles.

(d) The Director of Public Safety may waive part or all of the administrative and/or storage fees at his discretion for good cause shown.
