(a) The tax levied pursuant to this chapter is for the purpose of fostering and developing tourism within the Centennial Plaza Tourism Development District, and the funds collected through the tax levied by this chapter may be used for the purpose of fostering and development of tourism in the Tourism Development District as determined by Council.
(b) The funds collected through the tax levied by this chapter shall be placed in a special fund known as the "Centennial Plaza TDD Fund" that was established by Council pursuant to Ordinance No. 211/2020, enacted on November 2, 2020.
