1727.01 DEFINITIONS.
   The following words and phrases, whenever used in this chapter, shall be construed as defined in this section.
   (a)   "Sign" means legible, English lettering on a contrasting background to clearly indicate where smoking is not permitted and to provide related information. A sign shall be of sufficient size to be clearly legible to one of normal vision.
   (b)   "Smoking" means inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other lighted smoking device for burning tobacco or any other plant. For the purposes of this chapter, smoking shall also mean the use of any electronic smoking device, including any device that can be used to deliver aerosolized or vaporized nicotine, or any other substance to the person inhaling from the device (such devices are commonly known as "e-cigarettes", or vaping).
   (c)   "Enclosed" shall mean an area that is surrounded on at least three (3) sides by a wall or barrier at least five (5) feet high.
