(a) Applications for permits for inspections shall be accompanied by payment of the following fees:
(1) Acceptance of fire suppression systems: | |

Commercial | 2.00 per 100 sq. ft. of area. Minimum fee $100.00. |
(2) Low Voltage for commercial fire alarm | 100.00 |
(3) Tents | 50.00 plus $25.00 for each additional tent per event |
(4) Outdoor pyrotechnic displays | 250.00 |
(5) Indoor pyrotechnic displays | 75.00 |
(6) Special effects exhibitions | 200.00 |
(7) Fire Main | 75.00 |
(8) Additional inspection, no show or reinspection for code violation | 75.00 |
(9) Inspections conducted before 8:00 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m., on legal holidays and Saturdays and Sundays | 150.00 per hour or portion thereof |
(b) The foregoing permit fees shall be paid to the Canton Building Department prior to the beginning of any work concerning such uses. Any person, firm or corporation who fails to obtain permits required by this chapter prior to the beginning of work shall be required to obtain and pay for the permits which were originally required and in addition thereto shall pay a penalty twice the amount of the original permit fees.
