1509.02 BOND AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)   No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the installation, removal, repair or alteration of any aboveground or underground tank or be employed or hired as a contractor or subcontractor without meeting the bonding, insurance and permit requirements of this chapter.
 
   (b)   No permit shall be granted to any person, firm or corporation desiring to install, remove, repair or alter any aboveground or underground storage tank unless the applicant shall give a surety bond to the City in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) on the condition that such applicant shall pay any and all damage and injuries which may occur to any private or public property; and that such applicant shall save, indemnify and hold harmless the City against all liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses which may in any way accrue against the City in consequence of the granting of such permit, and shall in all things strictly comply with the conditions of his permit.
 
   (c)   No permit shall be granted to any person, firm or corporation desiring to install, remove, repair or alter any aboveground or underground storage tank unless the applicant shall provide evidence of liability insurance of not less than two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for personal liability and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for property liability and certification showing all employees of the applicant are covered by Ohio Workers' Compensation or equivalent insurance.
