(a) In accordance with the state and national fire codes, the following fees shall be paid for fire safety inspections:
(1) Annual inspection with a written report for all schools, public and private, within the corporate limits of the city of Canton, except for schools under the jurisdiction of the Plain Local School District | $100.00/per building |
(2) Annual inspection of day care facilities, excluding Type B facilities | 100.00 |
(3) Annual inspection of Type B day care facilities | 50.00 |
(4) Annual inspection of foster homes | 50.00 |
(5) Annual inspection of high rise buildings, defined as those having 3 or more stories | 150.00 |
(6) Annual inspection of hospitals | 300.00 |
(7) Annual inspection of nursing homes | 100.00 |
(8) Fire Protection System acceptance inspection | 100.00 |
(9) Re-test of failed Fire Protection System | 150.00 |
(10) Re-test of failed Fire Protection System, 3 or more inspection trips | 200.00 |
(11) Inspection of tents 200 hundred square feet or larger | 50.00 |
(12) Annual inspection of tire storage facilities | 100.00 |
(13) Annual inspection of group homes | 50.00 |
(b) The foregoing inspection fees shall be paid to the Fire Prevention Bureau.
