1313.12 INSPECTION PRIOR TO COVERING WORK; NOTICE AND INSPECTION CERTIFICATE.
   Upon completion of the wiring of any building, it shall be the duty of the person, firm, corporation or other entity installing the same, to notify the Electrical Inspector who shall inspect the installation within forty-eight hours from the time such notice is given. If it is found to be in full compliance with all laws relating thereof and this chapter and does not constitute a hazard to life and property, the Electrical Inspector shall issue to such person, firm, corporation or other entity, for delivery to the owner, a certificate of inspection authorizing connection to such electrical service and the turning on of the current. All wires which are to be hidden from view shall be inspected before concealment and any person, firm, corporation or other entity installing such wires, shall notify the Electrical Inspector and give him twenty-four hours’ notice in which to make the required inspection before such wires are concealed.
