(a) If the person served with a notice or order to remove or repair an unsafe building or structure should fail, within the time stated in such notice or order, to comply with requirements thereof, the City Law Director shall be advised of all facts in the case, and shall institute an appropriate action in the courts to compel a compliance.
(b) If any person, when ordered by the Chief Building Official, or his designee, to vacate an unsafe building or structure, fails to comply with such order, the City Law Director shall be advised of all facts in the case and it shall be the duty of the Police Department to aid the Chief Building Official, or his designee, to vacate such building or structure.
