1301.11 UNSAFE BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES TO BE REMOVED OR REPAIRED.

(a) A building or structure that may be or shall at any time become an unsafe building or structure, unless made safe and secure shall be taken down and removed when so ordered by the Chief Building Official.

(b) If the person responsible for the violation fails to remove or remedy the same, it shall be the further duty of the Chief Building Official to cause proceedings to be instituted to enjoin the continuance of use thereof.
