Whenever the provisions of the City Building Code or of the plans and specifications approved thereunder are not complied with, the Chief Building Official may issue a stop work order against the owner or his representative. Such stop work order cannot be removed except by written notice of the Chief Building Official after satisfactory evidence has been supplied that the violation has been corrected (Ord. 165-69.
