As used in this section:
(a) "City" means the City of Canton.
(b) "Employee" means any person holding a paid or unpaid position by election, appointment or employment with the City whether on a full- or part-time basis, but shall not include an independent contractor. The term employee shall include a former employee, his estate or judicially appointed personal representative.
(c) "Scope of employment" includes, on behalf of the City, acts or omissions fairly and reasonably deemed to be an ordinary and natural incident or attribute of the service to be rendered or the duty to be discharged as contemplated by the nature of the employment or a natural, direct or logical result thereof.
