151.23 COLLEGE EDUCATION INCENTIVE.
   (a)   The City shall reimburse employees who are attending an accredited degree- granting college or university, one-half the cost of tuition for one course per quarter or semester provided that the course is work-related, pre-approved by the appropriate Appointing Authority and the employee successfully completes the course with a minimum grade of “C” or its equivalent.
   (b)   In the event that the employee leaves City employment within one year of the completion of the reimbursed course work, the full amount paid as reimbursement shall be repaid to the City. The City Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to withhold such sum from the employee’s final paycheck.
