131.04 AUXILIARY POLICE CORPS.
   (a) There is hereby established an Auxiliary Police Corps within the Police Department in accordance with Ohio R.C. 737.051.
   (b)   A maximum of 125 members of the Auxiliary Police shall be maintained under the jurisdiction of the Police Department.

   (c)   The Chief of Police is hereby directed to administer the issuance of all City purchased clothing and equipment to the Auxiliary Police Corps. The clothing and equipment shall remain under his control and likewise remain the property of the City.
   (d)   Upon termination of membership in the Auxiliary Police Corps, all equipment and clothing assigned to the member shall be returned to the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall maintain a property record of all equipment and clothing purchased for the Auxiliary Police Corps and its assignment to members thereof.

   (e)   The Director of Public Safety is hereby directed to enter into a contract with the Industrial Commission of Ohio, Bureau of Workmen's Compensation for the Auxiliary Police Corps.
